As the founder of Majestic Toronto, I am proud to call Toronto home. Through this brand, my desire is to offer you unique, urban-inspired pieces focused on representing the unique, diverse tapestry of this city. My hope is that each piece lights up rooms that would otherwise be places of darkness and obscurity with love, belonging, and a recognition of our collective uniqueness and diversity.
I have faith in this city – faith that this city can be a centre of progress, prosperity and belonging, especially for members of the black community. From a young age, my parents – both immigrants from Jamaica – helped me understand the role the city played in helping them settle in a new country, and find love, which gave me a unique window into the power of community, and how the ebb and flow of life in the city brings the strangest of people together.
